NSC 24 website UI/UX design
The ASANSC 2024 Conference Website Design project showcases a meticulously crafted and user-centric digital platform for the globally renowned ASANSC conference, held in a different city each year. Unlike previous years, where external teams managed the website, the 2024 site was designed and developed entirely in-house, leveraging my expertise to save costs and streamline maintenance. This project features intuitive navigation for attendees to effortlessly access information on schedules, speakers, and workshops. Key elements include a responsive design for optimal performance across all devices, a dynamic agenda with real-time updates, and interactive features such as registration forms and live streaming. This project exemplifies a keen attention to detail, the use of modern web design trends, and a profound understanding of user experience principles, making it a standout addition to my portfolio.

My contribution
- Defined key functionalities to ensure the website is both accessible and user-friendly.
- Crafted vibrant digital-using friendly graphics inspired by logo concepts created by an Aboriginal artist.
- Independently developed a comprehensive design system, including colour schemes, typography, icons, graphics, and buttons.
- Created page templates to enable internal team members to update the website efficiently.
The Design Process
After establishing my task flow and conducting thorough research, I began wireframing the website outline to align with both business and user goals. Below, you can see the progression from low-fidelity wireframes to the high-fidelity design of the Home page.
The website was developed and designed using WordPress.
Design System
Design systems play a crucial role in the design journey as they pave the way for visual harmony, ultimately enhancing the user experience. Before diving into the high-fidelity design phase, I meticulously crafted a vibrant colour palette and established cohesive systems for shadows, typography, and diverse website components. This meticulous approach culminated in a sleek and refined final design, meticulously tailored to elevate user satisfaction across the board.
